Criminal justice client rehabs are available as a significantly better option than jail time or heavy fines for those who have already been convicted of any sort of alcohol or drug related crime. As an example, a person who has been found guilty of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol may qualify for treatment services for their problem instead of serving time in prison. The judge might even order the individual receive rehabilitation, either alone or in addition to other consequences.
