Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which deliver treatment to address both mental health and addiction issues concurrently. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral rehab which helps them develop more effective coping mechanisms so they are better able to handle life situations better when they depart dual diagnosis rehab rather than turning to drugs as a possible option.
