Medicaid is a type of medical health insurance available for many people who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government funded insurance coverage. Whether or not a person is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon their earnings however, and people shouldn't assume they don't qualify just because they earn a good income. If someone is involved with drug use and needs help, they can use their Medicaid health coverage to obtain this help. If they don't have Medicaid and in addition don't have enough cash or another form of medical insurance to cover rehabilitation, they could check if they qualify for Medicaid and then enroll in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center that's approved within their state.
