Medicaid is a form of medical insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government provided insurance. Whether someone is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only determined by income however, and people shouldn't assume they don't qualify just because they earn an acceptable income. Some states only cover outpatient treatment services for example while other states cover far more extensive rehab say for example a residential stay in long-term alcohol and drug treatment program. If someone is involved with drug abuse and desires help, they are able to use their Medicaid health coverage to get this help. If they do not have Medicaid plus don't have the funds or some other kind of medical health insurance to pay for rehab, they could check if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then sign up for a drug rehabilitation facility which is approved inside their state.
