Medicare is a form of medical health insurance created by the federal government for senior citizens, as well as people with certain disabilities and sicknesses. When someone that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only real exception is, the person will have to receive treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence treatment, they will also have to visit their doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve which kind of rehabilitation the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehabilitation solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual has to be hospitalized for problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they've got to self pay.
