Medicare is a form of medical health insurance developed by the government for seniors, as well as people who have certain disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only exception is, the person will need to acquire treatment from the drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to start rehabilitation, they will also have to see their physician who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will generally approve what sort of rehabilitation the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment services. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual needs to be hospitalized for problem, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
