Medicaid is a kind of medical health insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government provided insurance coverage. Whether or not a person is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and people shouldn't presume they don't qualify because they earn a good income. For example, people who have many dependents may qualify for Medicaid regardless of whether they make what would be considered a sensible income. If anyone is involved with drug abuse and desires help, they could use their Medicaid insurance coverage to obtain this treatment. If they do not have Medicaid and in addition don't have enough cash or any other type of medical health insurance to cover treatment, they could determine if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then enroll in a drug rehabilitation center that is approved in their state.
