Criminal justice client rehabs can be considered being a significantly better option than incarceration or significant fines for many who have already been convicted of any sort of alcohol or drug related crime. For example, someone who has been in prison for driving while impaired of alcohol or drugs may be eligible for treatment services for his or her problem as opposed to serving time in prison. The judge may even order the individual receive treatment, either alone or as well as other sentencing. New offenders in particular are often given the ability to pick a criminal justice client rehab as opposed to other sentencing, and it is highly recommended they benefit from it when it is a possibility.
