Medicare is a sort of medical health insurance developed by the government for seniors, along with people who have certain disabilities and illnesses. If a person who has Medicare needs rehab for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only real exception is, the person must acquire treatment from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin treatment, they can also get to visit their physician who must declare that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual needs to be in a hospital for their issue, along with the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
