Medicare is a type of medical health insurance created by the federal government for older persons, as well as individuals with specific disabilities and diseases. When someone that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only real exception is, the individual will have to receive treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence treatment, they can also get to visit their doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of rehab the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual needs to be in a hospital for issue, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in the Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they'll have to self pay.
