Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which provide rehab to address both addiction and mental health issues at the same time. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral treatment which helps them develop far better coping mechanisms so that they are better able to handle life situations more effectively when they leave dual diagnosis rehab instead of returning to drugs and alcohol as an inferior answer.
