Medicare is a type of medical insurance created by the government for older folks, and also people who have certain disabilities and sicknesses. When someone that has Medicare needs rehab for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The one catch is, the person will have to acquire treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to begin rehab, they can also get to see their primary care physician who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve which kind of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation services. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual must be in a hospital because of their problem, along with the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they'll have to self pay.
