Individuals who would like to maintain some flexibility within their lives can engage in an outpatient rehab if they need rehab for drug or alcohol abuse. Outpatient rehab allows for the treatment client to participate in treatment services without the commitment you might usually have to agree to in an inpatient or residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility. For an individual with more significant addiction and dependency issues, inpatient or residential drug treatment programs which provide rehabilitation on a long-term basis are going to be the more beneficial rehab alternative.
