Criminal justice client rehabs can be considered being a far better option than prison time or significant fines for many who have been convicted of any sort of drug or alcohol related crime. For instance, anyone who has been found guilty of driving while impaired of alcohol or drugs may be eligible for rehabilitation services because of their problem rather than serving time in jail. The judge might order the individual receive rehab, either alone or together with other sentencing. First time offenders in particular are often given the opportunity to go with a criminal justice client rehab as opposed to other sentencing, and it is highly recommended they make the most of it if it is a choice. The theory behind criminal justice client rehabs is it is much more efficient and effective to invest time and effort into rehabilitation than enforcement of other consequences.
