Medicare is a type of health care insurance designed by the federal government for senior citizens, in addition to those that have specific disabilities and illnesses. If a person who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only real exception is, the person must obtain treatment from your alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to begin rehab, they can also get to see their medical doctor who must state that rehab services are medically essential, and the physician will usually approve which kind of treatment the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehabilitation solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual has to be in a hospital because of their issue, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
