Medicare is a form of health insurance developed by the U.S. government for older folks, and also people who have certain disabilities and illnesses. If someone who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The only catch is, the person will need to obtain treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start treatment, they may also have to visit their doctor who must state that rehabilitation services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve what type of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehabilitation solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual should be in a hospital because of their issue, as well as the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they'll have to self pay.
