Medicare is a form of health care insurance developed by the U.S. government for seniors, as well as those that have specific disabilities and diseases. If someone who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The one exception is, the individual must obtain treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehabilitation, they may also have to visit their physician who must declare that rehab services are medically essential, and the physician will typically approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual has to be in a hospital because of their issue, along with the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
