Medicare is a kind of medical health insurance designed by the U.S. government for seniors, along with those that have certain disabilities and diseases. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehab for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The only catch is, the person must receive treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to begin treatment, they can also get to see their physician who must state that rehab services are medically necessary, and the physician will usually approve which kind of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment services. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual has to be hospitalized because of their problem, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they'll have to self pay.
