Medicare is a type of medical health insurance designed by the federal government for older persons, along with people who have specific disabilities and diseases. When someone who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only real catch is, the individual will need to obtain treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to start rehabilitation, they may also have to see their doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the physician will usually approve what sort of treatment the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center in the event that the individual must be in a hospital because of their issue, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
