Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which provide rehabilitation to deal with both addiction and mental health concerns concurrently. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral treatment which will help them develop more effective coping mechanisms so they are better able to handle life situations more effectively when they leave dual diagnosis rehab rather than turning to alcohol and drugs as an inferior option.
