Medicare is a form of medical insurance created by the government for older persons, in addition to those that have specific disabilities and illnesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The one catch is, the person must receive treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to begin rehab, they may also have to see their doctor who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically essential, and the physician will generally approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual must be in a hospital for problem, along with the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
