This doesn't often work in the rehabilitation client's favor however, specifically those individuals who need to resolve substantial substance abuse issues. So although an outpatient rehab may seem like an opportune option, it isn't for everyone. People that choose an outpatient rehab will typically attend meetings and take part in therapy and treatment services part-time on a daily basis or a few days a week. This is helpful for individuals who have recently completed an even more thorough inpatient or residential program as an effective aftercare or upkeep step, or for someone with just a brief history of drug use which is really a very small amount of clients. For a person with more significant drug abuse and dependency problems, inpatient or residential alcohol and drug treatment centers which provide rehabilitation on a long-term basis will probably be the more beneficial treatment alternative.
