TRICARE is health care insurance which is provided to individuals in the military of the United States. If an inpatient center is the preferred rehab choice, TRICARE will cover a 3 week period or one inpatient stay in this particular center per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are certain limits concerning just how long a TRICARE member can stay within an inpatient center that accepts TRICARE, then there is typically a 30 to 45 day window that is covered. TRICARE also covers family counselling that may be very useful, as it can help include family members in the healing and recovery process.
