Medicare is a kind of medical insurance designed by the federal government for senior citizens, along with people who have certain disabilities and sicknesses. When someone that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The one exception is, the person will have to acquire treatment from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to begin treatment, they will also have to see their primary care physician who must state that rehabilitation services are medically necessary, and the physician will generally approve what sort of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual has to be hospitalized for his or her issue, along with the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
