Medicare is a type of medical insurance designed by the federal government for seniors, along with people with specific disabilities and diseases. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The only real exception is, the individual will have to receive treatment from your drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to begin treatment, they may also have to visit their medical doctor who must state that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the physician will usually approve what type of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center in the event that the individual needs to be in a hospital for issue, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation inside a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
