TRICARE is health insurance which is provided to folks in the armed forces of the United States. Substance abuse within the military is much more common than one would assume, and the necessity to offer rehabilitation to these individuals is a vital priority. TRICARE covers a variety of rehab services to address drug and alcohol dependence including detoxification services, along with rehabilitation in outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient facilities. People with TRICARE will of course have to have a prior approval before partaking in any sort of rehabilitation service, which is often arranged using a regional TRICARE representative. If an inpatient program is the favored rehabilitation choice, TRICARE covers a three week period or one inpatient stay in this center per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are specific limits regarding just how long a TRICARE member can stay in an inpatient facility that accepts TRICARE, and there is typically a 30 to 45 day window that's covered. TRICARE also covers family counselling which may be very beneficial, as it may help include loved ones in the healing and process of recovery. No person in the military should struggle with this battle alone, and there are professional treatment counselors ready to help you today.
