Medicare is a form of medical health insurance created by the government for seniors, as well as people who have specific disabilities and diseases. If a person who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only exception is, the person will have to obtain treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start treatment, they may also have to visit their doctor who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically necessary, and the doctor will typically approve what sort of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual should be hospitalized for his or her problem, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
