Medicaid is a form of medical health insurance available for many people who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government provided insurance. Whether or not somebody qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon their earnings however, and individuals shouldn't presume they don't qualify because they earn a good income. For instance, individuals who have quite a few dependents may be eligible for Medicaid regardless of whether they earn what would be described as a reasonable income. There are lots of drug rehab programs which accept Medicaid, but various states have different rules for what forms of treatment are covered. Some states only cover outpatient rehab services for example while other states cover more intensive rehabilitation say for example a residential stay in long-term alcohol and drug rehabilitation program. If somebody is involved in drug abuse and needs help, they are able to use their Medicaid insurance coverage to obtain this help. If they do not have Medicaid and in addition don't have enough cash or some other kind of medical health insurance to cover rehab, they could check if they qualify for Medicaid and then enroll in an alcohol and drug rehabilitation program that's approved in their state.
