Medicare is a type of medical insurance developed by the government for seniors, in addition to people with certain disabilities and diseases. If someone that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The one exception is, the person must obtain treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to begin rehabilitation, they can also get to see their physician who must state that treatment services are medically necessary, and the physician will usually approve which kind of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual has to be hospitalized for his or her issue, as well as the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
