Medicaid is a type of health care insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government provided insurance coverage. Certain states only include outpatient rehab services for example while other states cover far more intensive treatment like a residential stay in long-term drug rehabilitation center. If somebody is involved with drug abuse and needs help, they are able to use their Medicaid health coverage to get this help. If they don't have Medicaid plus don't have the cash or another kind of health insurance to pay for rehabilitation, they could see if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then enroll in a drug rehabilitation program which is approved within their state.
