Medicare is a sort of health insurance designed by the U.S. government for seniors, and also individuals with certain disabilities and diseases. When someone who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The one exception is, the person will need to acquire treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to begin rehab, they will also have to visit their doctor who must state that rehabilitation services are medically essential, and the physician will typically approve what type of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehabilitation solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual should be hospitalized for his or her problem, and the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
