Dual diagnosis rehabs are centers which provide rehabilitation to address both addiction and mental health issues concurrently. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral treatment that helps them develop more effective coping mechanisms so that they are able to better deal with life circumstances better when they depart dual diagnosis rehab as opposed to turning to alcohol and drugs as an inferior option.
