Medicare is a kind of health care insurance developed by the U.S. government for senior citizens, along with people who have specific disabilities and illnesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The one catch is, the individual will need to receive treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to start rehabilitation, they can also get to visit their physician who must declare that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve which kind of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual needs to be hospitalized for their issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they'll have to self pay.
