Medicaid is a type of medical health insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government provided insurance. Whether someone is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify simply because they earn a good income. If someone is involved with drug abuse and desires help, they can use their Medicaid health coverage to obtain this treatment. If they don't have Medicaid plus don't have the cash or any other type of medical insurance to cover treatment, they can see if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then enroll in a drug rehabilitation facility that is approved inside their state.
