Medicare is a form of health insurance created by the U.S. government for senior citizens, and also people with specific disabilities and illnesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The only catch is, the person will need to obtain treatment from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to begin treatment, they can also get to visit their doctor who must state that treatment services are medically essential, and the doctor will usually approve what sort of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual needs to be in a hospital for problem, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they'll have to self pay.
