If an inpatient center could be the favored treatment choice, TRICARE will cover 21 days or one inpatient stay in such a center per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are certain limits about the length of time a TRICARE member can stay within an inpatient program that accepts TRICARE, and there's typically a 30 to 45 day window which is covered. TRICARE also covers family therapy which can be very beneficial, as it can help include loved ones in the healing and recovery process.
