Medicare is a type of health insurance created by the U.S. government for seniors, along with people with specific disabilities and illnesses. If a person who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The one catch is, the person must acquire treatment from the drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence treatment, they will also have to see their physician who must declare that treatment services are medically essential, and the doctor will generally approve what type of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual needs to be hospitalized for his or her issue, along with the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation in the Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they've got to self pay.
