TRICARE is medical insurance that is offered to folks in the military of the United States. If an inpatient program will be the preferred treatment option, TRICARE will cover a three week period or one inpatient stay in this particular facility per benefit period which is every 12 months. There are specific limits regarding how long a TRICARE member can remain in an inpatient center that accepts TRICARE, then there is typically a 30-45 day window that is covered. TRICARE also covers family counselling which is often very useful, as it could help include loved ones in the healing and recovery process.
