Medicare is a type of health insurance designed by the U.S. government for older folks, in addition to people with specific disabilities and diseases. If someone who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The only catch is, the person will have to receive treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to commence rehab, they may also have to visit their doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will typically approve what type of treatment the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual should be in a hospital for his or her issue, as well as the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
