Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which provide treatment to address both addiction and mental health issues simultaneously. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral treatment which helps them develop more efficient coping mechanisms so that they are able to better deal with life situations more proficiently once they leave dual diagnosis rehab as opposed to turning to drugs and alcohol as a possible option.
