Criminal justice client rehabs can be considered being a far better option than prison time or significant fines for many who have already been convicted of any kind of drug or alcohol related crime. For instance, someone who has been in prison for dui of drugs or alcohol may be eligible to obtain rehabilitation services for his or her problem instead of serving time in jail. The judge might even order the individual receive rehabilitation, either alone or together with other consequences. The theory behind criminal justice client rehabs is it is way more efficient and effective to invest time and effort into rehabilitation than punishment. The signs and indicators seem to be quite positive, and criminal justice clients who do experience rehabilitation have a much better potential for remaining out of the system following treatment.
