Medicaid is a health care insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government funded insurance. If they don't have Medicaid plus don't have enough cash or another type of medical insurance to cover rehab, they could determine if they qualify for Medicaid and then sign up for a drug and alcohol treatment center which is approved inside their state.
