TRICARE is health care insurance that's provided to members of the armed forces of the United States. If an inpatient center is the preferred rehab option, TRICARE will cover a 3 week period or one inpatient stay in this particular program per benefit period which is every 12 months. There are certain limits about how long a TRICARE member can remain in an inpatient facility that accepts TRICARE, and there is typically a 30-45 day window that's covered. TRICARE also covers family counselling which is often very beneficial, as it could help include family members in the healing and recovery process.
