Medicare is a form of medical insurance developed by the government for senior citizens, along with people who have certain disabilities and illnesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only exception is, the individual must receive treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to begin rehabilitation, they can also get to see their physician who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve what type of treatment the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehab providers. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual must be hospitalized because of their problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they've got to self pay.
