Medicaid is a medical health insurance available for many people who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government provided insurance coverage. Whether someone is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only determined by their earnings however, and individuals shouldn't presume they don't qualify because they earn a good income. Certain states only include outpatient rehab services for instance while other states cover more intensive rehabilitation such as a residential stay in long-term drug and alcohol rehab program. If anyone is involved in drug use and needs help, they can use their Medicaid insurance coverage to get this treatment. If they don't have Medicaid and also don't have the funds or another type of medical health insurance to cover rehab, they can see if they qualify for Medicaid and then sign up for a drug and alcohol rehab program that is approved in their state.
