Medicare is a form of medical insurance developed by the federal government for senior citizens, along with people with specific disabilities and illnesses. If someone that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will either be covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The only exception is, the person must obtain treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence treatment, they may also have to visit their doctor who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual must be in a hospital for their issue, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in the Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
