Medicare is a type of health care insurance created by the government for older persons, as well as those that have specific disabilities and illnesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehab for cases of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The one catch is, the person will have to obtain treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start rehabilitation, they will also have to visit their physician who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the doctor will usually approve which kind of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment providers. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual should be in a hospital for their problem, along with the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
