Medicare is a kind of health care insurance designed by the U.S. government for older persons, and also people who have certain disabilities and illnesses. If someone who has Medicare needs rehab for cases of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they'll have to self pay.
