Medicaid is a type of health insurance available for those who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government funded insurance coverage. Whether someone qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend on their earnings however, and individuals shouldn't presume they don't qualify because they make a reasonable income. If anyone is involved with substance abuse and needs help, they're able to use their Medicaid insurance coverage to get this treatment. If they don't have Medicaid plus don't have the funds or some other type of health insurance to pay for rehab, they could see if they qualify for Medicaid and then sign up for a drug rehabilitation center that is approved inside their state.
