Medicare is a type of health insurance created by the government for senior citizens, along with individuals with specific disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehab for cases of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only exception is, the individual must obtain treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to begin rehabilitation, they will also have to visit their doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will usually approve which kind of treatment the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation providers. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center in the event that the individual needs to be hospitalized for issue, and also the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they'll have to self pay.
